If you have a medical emergency, please call 911. To make an appointment, please call 202-331-3338 and speak with the receptionist. My policy is that sick people get seen the same day they call the office. This has been my policy since I started practicing medicine in 1988. We will fit you into the schedule somewhere that is hopefully convenient. There may be a wait, but it sure beats going to the ER, seeing a physician you don't know, or worst of all, waiting another day when you might get sicker. I am a late worker, and I am happy to stay late to meet all of my patients' needs for that day. The rare exception to this would be something rigid in my schedule such as a flight, lecture, or dinner meeting. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please try to give us at least 24 hour notice otherwise you will be assessed a $50 missed appointment fee.
